About Desert Game Studio

Desert Game Studio is a small collection of original games designed to be quick to learn and easy to come back to. Each game has its own page with clear instructions, controls for keyboard and touch, and tips to help you improve. Nothing needs installing, and pages stay light on a phone because a game's code is only downloaded on that game's page.

Most games include a daily challenge that uses the same puzzle for everyone on the same date. Finish it to grow your streak, collect stars and unlock achievements. You can also challenge a friend: after a run, share a link that replays exactly your puzzle and shows the score to beat.

Your profile stays with you

There are no accounts. Your name, bests, stars, streaks and achievements are stored in your browser, work offline once a page has loaded, and can be moved to another device with a copy-paste code on the profile page. Read the privacy policy for details, or learn more about the studio.

The eye-test pack

Four visual puzzles generated in code: spot the odd shape, find hidden objects in busy rooms, spot the difference between two scenes and read dot-pattern colour plates. They are games for fun, not medical tests, and they cannot say anything about your eyesight.
